Back in July I shot a Maternity Session for a super fun couple expecting twins in September. Their boys, however, had a plan of their own and came much sooner than expected. They were still so itty bitty when it came time for their “newborn” photos several weeks after their birth. Here are some shots from the shoot:

You may have noticed I have not updated any portfolio galleries since I switched from a standard site to a blog site. I just wanted to let you know I do plan to update all galleries in August. Can you believe this gorgeous mama gave birth to TWINS shortly after these photos were taken? Yeah, me neither.
These adorable baby girls made me really miss the newborn phase. So tiny and perfect in every way, it was such a joy to spend some time with them.

I recently photographed adorable baby Nathan! So tiny and so snuggly, he reminded me how much I love the newborn stage. If only they stayed this little a bit longer!

I am very excited to start 2010 with a brand new blog site. I can’t think of a better way to kick off the new blog and new year than with pics of a brand new baby!
I had the pleasure of photographing 7 day old baby Matthew last week. Luckily for his parents, he sleeps much better at night than he did for me during the shoot. Thankfully, I was still able to get some nice sleepy shots.
I look forward to many more shoots with the precious little boy.
